You will be working in a fast-paced environment right at the forefront of a packed and exciting people agenda.

The Role: Reports to the HR Services Manager within the HR Operations team; you will be responsible for providing expert ER advice and operational support to managers from varied business areas as required.

Specifically the role will involve:

  • Providing expert HR guidance, advice and coaching to Line Managers across both Wythall and London sites on all operational issues, including performance and absence management, organisational design and ER related matters
  • Taking direct responsibility for all employee relations activities, ensuring effective collaborative working with the HR Business Partner on high risk/complex cases
  • Working closely with the existing HR Consultants and Business Partners to successfully implement organisational change initiatives

The Requirements: We are keen for the successful candidate to make an immediate contribution and so are looking for an experienced HR professional, ideally holding an MCIPD qualification or with equivalent experience, who can demonstrate:   

  • A strong generalist HR background and clear commercial outlook, evidenced by a proven track record in a similar role,
  • Proven practical knowledge of ‘best practice’ HR principles and procedures, particularly in respect of ER, employment law, organisational design, performance management and stakeholder engagement
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills (both external and internally facing)
  • Enthusiasm and drive to effect change and add real value to overall business performance
  • The capability to interpret people related Data/MI using Excel and present said data in an impactful and clear way to senior board members
